Course Overview
Founded in 1895, Cherokee is one of the oldest municipal golf courses in the United States. It’s also the oldest public golf course in Louisville. It's the shortest of the Louisville Parks courses, making it welcoming for those working on their game - but Cherokee's hilly layout hides a surprising amount of challenge for even the most experienced players.
