Course Overview
Located in Newport South Wales, The Celtic Manor Resort is home to The Roman Road Course which is the oldest course on site, opening in 1955. This mature course is a par 70, overlooking the Severn Estuary which provides great natural scenery to take in during your round. The course gets its name from the old Via Julia Roman highway that ran across it. This championship standard golf course was designed by Robert Trent Jones and has held European Tour events and Senior Tour Events in the past. The course features generous fairways with many hazards littered across the course to keep the golf guessing. The course features large bunkers and many water hazards. Celtic Manor caters for every golfing need with three championship golf courses, a floodlit driving range, two grand clubhouses this fantastic venue is worth a visit.
