Course Overview

Carrickfergus Golf Club stands on the shoreline of Belfast Lough with great views across to County Down. Carrickfergus Golf Club which was founded in 1926 is a pleasant parkland course with tree lined fairways, and strategically placed bunkers. The course offers a interesting mix of testing and approachable holes, including the notable "Dam" on the first! Although not a particularly long course, at Par 68 and with intelligent use of water features and subtle greens as redesigned by local golf architect David Jones, Carrickfergus Golf Club offers a true test for all levels of golfer, with straight driving advantageous.
