Course Overview

Canterbury Golf Club opened in 1927 and was designed by the highly renowned golf course architect Harry Colt. The golf course is based on a beautiful natural landscape that is home to a variety of areas given the status of SSSI by Natural England. The course’s original heathland structure has developed over the years and the introduction of trees that have matured over the years. The course is kept I great condition year-round due to excellent natural drainage. The greens staff work extremely hard to ensure the upkeep of the course. Greens speeds are controlled, and the surfaces are in great condition. Fairways at Canterbury Golf Club are tight and require an accurate shot to find them, however once the tee shots have been navigated several holes will reward golfers with an easier approach shot. The course measures 6272 yards from the white tees and provides an enjoyable test of golf for all ability levels.
