Course Overview

Opened in 1980, Calverley Golf Club spans both sides of Woodhall Lane and through the West Yorkshire countryside as well as around Pudsey - making Calverley Golf Club an incredibly picturesque venue. The beautiful and modern clubhouse is located in the centre of the venue and is known locally for being extremely friendly and welcoming. Take in a post-round drink at the bar which has a great selection of beers, wines and spirits and food is served all day. Make the most of the back nine when playing Calverely Golf Course as the front nine are said to be the most challenging of the 18 holes. The tighter fairways and shaped holes demand better positioning to achieve par and the fast greens make putting and chipping difficult. Conversely, the back nine offers more opportunities to bring out the driver and stretch out the shoulders. Club selection is paramount around the entire course and your approach shots will need to be decent in order to achieve a good score.
