Course Overview
Going all the way back to 1920, semi-private Brenham Country Club is a well maintained 18-hole golf course that's suitable for all players. With three sets of tees that range from 4,723 yards to 6,520 yards, players can find the right yardage for their game. That's the not to say the course is a pushover, by any means. Brenham Country Club's no. 1 handicap hole, the par-5 fifth, plays almost 600 yards from the tips and has a large pond left of the fairway and green on the approach. In fact, water comes into play quite often on the course. A creek crosses fairways on four holes, and there's a pond or creek on 13 holes. The dogleg right 398-yard sixth is another good example, with a water hazard just past the bend in the fairway on the approach. In addition to the course, practice facilities, including a driving range, are also available. Members and guests can also take advantage of the club's elegant clubhouse, which can accommodate meetings or special events.
