Course Overview
This Forest Course is one of the oldest in the country and is definitely the oldest in Hampshire. Built in 1865 against the backdrop of The New Forest, The 18 Hole Forest Course at Bramshaw Golf Club remains the same today as when it was established. The Forest Course, with open aspects and rolling heathland, the ever-changing scenery of humps, hollows, and meandering streams will test your golfing skills. There are many unique aspects to the Forest Course, including the greenkeeping team – the New Forest deer, ponies, donkeys, pigs and chickens who roam the fairways. This will be a round to remember! The Forest Course is easily accessible from both Salisbury and Southampton and is one not to be missed when golfing in the South of England! The Bramshaw Golf Club has two excellent restaurants serving food daily and a well appointed bar with a balcony overlooking courses. For those interested in play and stay there is accommodation available next door at The Bell Inn - a charming, dog-friendly, 26-bedroom Coaching Inn with a welcoming fire, a well-stocked bar and an exceptional British seasonal menu.
