Course Overview

Bonaventure’s famous championship golf course, located only 15 minutes west of Ft Lauderdale, was designed by noted architect Joe Lee and opened in 1970. Famed golf architect and player Jack Nicklaus greatly admires Joe Lee designed golf courses, giving him the ultimate compliment, saying Lee “never built a bad course.” Come challenge your skills on the Nationally Famous #3 Waterfall Hole. Joe Lee layouts have hosted scores of professional tournaments and thrilled everyday golfers for more than 60 years. To this point, the Golf Club at Bonaventure in Weston has been a past host to the prestigious Dixie Amateur Tournament where players including Tiger Woods, Sergio Garcia, and Jesper Parnevik have competed.
