Course Overview
A nice walk in the park and just enough challenge to test better golfers help make Bixby Village Golf Course an enjoyable course that can be played quickly. The nine-hole executive course has three par 4s and six par 3s and plays 1,795 yards from the back tees (there are three sets of tees). Opened in 1980, the course was designed by Ron Fream. The walkable course features a pond that comes into play early, strategic bunkering and bentgrass greens. The seventh and eight holes are among the hardest on the course. The eighth is 185-yard par 3 and the no. 1 handicap hole. And the eighth is a 350-yard sharp dogleg right par 4. There is no driving range, but there is a practice green as well as a well-stocked golf shop. Located in Long Beach, Bixby Village Golf Course is located less than a half hour west of Anaheim.
