Course Overview
Batchwood Golf & Sport Centre is set on the beautiful and picturesque grounds of an 18 hole course. The club was originally founded in 1935 and has since developed through the years to become a pivotal starting stone for some notable golfers who started in the area, such as David Tapping and Peter Townsend. Batchwood Hall golf course is an 18 hole parkland course measuring 6,468 yards. The course was constructed just a year after the club was founded in 1936 and the course was designed by J H Taylor, “five times Open Champion and the first Englishman to win the Open.”
