Course Overview

Owned and operated by the Arlington Height Parks District, Arlington Lakes Golf Club is a municipal golf course that sits on the site of an old missile base. The 90-acre par-68 course, which was originally designed by Garrett and David Gill, opened in 1979. In 2016, it underwent an extensive renovation led by Michael J. Benkusky. The changes included more than 100 strategically placed fescue-edged bunkers that give the course a real natural look. And true to the course name, water comes into play on 13 holes. The greens are sloping and somewhat small, so a good short game is a must, and there are plenty of mature trees to navigate. Arlington Lakes Golf Club, which has two par 5s, has four sets of tees and can play as long as 5,432 yards or as short as 2,905 yards. The facility also includes a driving range, short-game area and putting green. Lessons are also available. And inside the clubhouse is a golf shop, restaurant and banquet facilities.
