Alnmouth Village Golf Club is England’s Oldest 9 Hole Links Course. Established in 1869, Alnmouth Village Golf Club was originally designed by Mungo Park, winner of the Open Championship in 1874. Park also held the role of the club’s first professional and greenskeeper. Alnmouth Village Golf Club offers plenty of challenges with undulating fairways and rolling greens, providing golfers of all abilities a stern test. Although only a 9 hole course, golfers can play from alternate tees for the second, presenting a new challenge on each hole.
