Course Overview

Airdrie Golf Club can trace its roots back to 1877 and has undergone significant changes since then. In 1937 James Braid was called in to advise on the lay-out, and the lengthened course was then opened in May 1939, and to all intents and purposes is the layout which is enjoyed today. Airdrie Golf Club is located between Glasgow and Edinburgh with easy access to the M8, M74 and M80. The club has a large comfortable clubhouse offering panoramic views across the course where you can enjoy a coffee or something a wee bit stronger. Airdrie Golf Course is home to a superb wooded parkland course with stunning views. It is a 6,004 yard par 69 course with more than its fair share of surprises so those caught napping among the great views will pay the price. Natural hazards and tight fairways are a common feature and, on occasion, your approach to the putting surface is made tougher as some greens are well protected.
