Glencorse Golf Club, founded in 1890 is situated just 8 miles south of Edinburgh city centre. A strong test of golf despite it's length, Glencorse Golf Club will ensure visitors use every club in their bag before they head for the clubhouse. There are 5 par 3's over 200 yards, ensuring players are on their iron game. Many guests of Glencorse Golf Club compliment the layout with holes 3 and 5 receiving particular praise from visitors. The 11th hole at Glencorse Golf Clubs holds significant importance, "Logan Bank" takes its name from the lodge house which is interestingly the line to the green, the lodge itself was once the home of the late Alex W. Inglis, the original owner of the golf course.
