Course overview
Opened in June 2000, Ballumbie Castle Golf Club is situated just outside Dundee on a great piece of Parkland terrain. Although it measures just over 6,000 yards, the par 69 course at Ballumbie Castle Golf Club requires accuracy and smart positional play from several tees, with driver sometimes not being the best option. The course has a great variety of holes and doesn't let up just because you are coming to the end of your round. The strong finishing hole at Ballumbie Castle known as "The Green lady" requires a solid drive up the right side to avoid the out of bounds which runs the length of the hole down the left. This should be followed by an accurate approach to the multi-tier green.
