Course overview

Founded in 1892, Roscrea Golf Club in County Tipperary has long been praised by amateurs and professionals alike. Set on 130 acres and in the shadows of the Slieve Bloom Mountains in the geographical center of Ireland, the course was originally a nine-hole parkland. The new 18-hole layout was created in the early '90s, with highest quality, sand-based greens added. A special feature on the golf course is the abundance and variety of par 3s. Most notable holes are the 180-yard sixth, played almost entirely over a lake, and the famous seventh called "The Burma Road”, a par 5 measuring more than 500 yards, with trees on both sides. A beautiful course not to be missed.
