Course overview

Nestled on the outskirts of the beautiful market town of Henley, one mile away from the River Thames, Henley Golf Club is the outstanding course in the area and is one of Oxfordshire's finest pieces of natural golfing terrain. The course was originally laid out in 1907 by acclaimed golf course architect James Braid. The course at Henley has a par of 70 and measures 6264 from the back tees. Six par threes add to the challenge with the shortest at 128 yards and the longest at 225 yards from the whites. It is always remarked on what a fair test of golf Henley is with generous tree lined fairways, undulating topography and true putting surfaces Henley rewards the good golf shots without being too penal to the ‘off centre’ strikes.
