Course overview

Originally opened as a 9-hole course in 1936, Boldmere Golf Club became an 18-hole in the 1960s. It also boasts the oldest pro-am event in Europe and is known locally as a challenging hole where beating the testing par 3s is no mean feat! You can take in the views of the course from the terrace at the clubhouse which has a licensed bar serving food and drinks - the perfect place for that all-important post-round drink. A mature layout that demands accuracy and thought off the tee, keeping your ball in play is the key with water hazards, tree lined fairways and well placed bunkering defending this fairly even layout. Boasting the oldest pro-am in Europe, golfers come from far and wide to play this course. The first 3 holes of the back 9 can make or break your round at Boldmere, with 10 par 3s of differing length providing a stern test – particularly over the back 9.
