Course overview
Designed in 1923 by Harry Colt, one of the finest course designers in history, Grimsby Golf Club has a strong golfing heritage and boasts quality throughout. Although one of Colt's lesser-known courses, there are many of his trademark touches here: soft lines, grand and inviting fairways, and a visually appealing layout. The club has maintained the course in a way that is true to its original design. With a fantastic clubhouse, practice ground, short game area and putting green, Grimsby Golf Club has all the ingredients of a great golfing venue. With all the quality you would expect from one of the masters, the Colt designed Grimsby Golf Club is a beautifully presented golf course. This certainly isn’t one of the longest courses you’ll play, but there are a number of short par 4s that reward the adventurous. The combination of mature greens and outstanding greenkeeping makes this a course that is well worth the trip, offering a layout and charm that modern golf courses struggle to replicate.
