Course overview
Brinkworth Golf Course provides an enjoyable and friendly atmosphere and as such the rules are relatively relaxed. There is a dress code; for example no jeans, for men, shirts with collars to be worn at all times and golf shoes or trainers will be worn whilst on the course. Since being opened the course and club have matured greatly, and now includes: 18 Hole Traditional Grass Greens, Private Memberships & Pay & Play Visitors Welcome, Bar Facilities, Societies Corporate & Group Membership’s Welcome, Practice Facilities, Individual & Group Coaching with a PGA qualified professional, Private Dining Facilities, Conference, Function & Meeting Room and Buggies (Summer Months Only) and Pull Trolleys for hire. The par is 70 for both Men, and Ladies. and measures 6,080 yards from the back (White) tees and 5,709 yards from the front (Red) tees and is set in 150 acres of mature Wiltshire countryside. Strategically placed water features, open ditches and bunkers, enable all levels of golfers to enjoy the course. Challenging for the low handicappers but forgiving enough for the novice. The club is situated in the village of Brinkworth, west of Swindon. At Brinkworth you can be assured of an informal, friendly and social atmosphere.
