The Mount Golf and Country Club offers a tranquil, stress-free atmosphere with modern facilities providing for the demands of the modern day golfer. Located in the tranquil Staffordshire countryside and close to the Shropshire border, the course here has matured fantastically well since being laid out 20 years ago. The clubhouse has a large patio area on which drinks can be enjoyed as well as a large private garden with views of the golf course and the surrounding countryside. The refurbished driving range has 18 floodlit bays and 'Power-Tees' which automatically tee up your ball after each hit. This inland golf course has the feel of a links on many holes. The Mount Golf and Country Club is a great layout for all standards, at 6,147 yards, par 72 it is not a short course but is reasonably forgiving with open fairways allowing you to open your shoulders on a number of the holes. The quick and testing greens require a careful touch and good judge of pace in order to score well. Excellent drainage means the course plays well all year round.
