Course overview
Laid out along the shores of Youghal Bay, Youghal Golf Club goes back more than a century, but its current layout is a mere 40 years old. Designed by Commander John Harris, who also crafted the Castle Course at Lahinch, Youghal Golf Club is an excellent 6,200-yard, par 70 with wonderful views of the Atlantic Ocean, Blackwater Estuary and the Kockmealdown Mountains. Among the highlights of the parkland-style golf course is a par 3 surrounded by water. The golf course, though not overly difficult, does get harder as you progress on the back nine. Youghal Golf Club also offers a bar and restaurant, motorized golf carts and pull carts and a practice putting green.
