Course overview
Founded in 1890, Greenock Golf Club has played host to several championships over the years and featured golfers such as JH Taylor, Harry Vardon and Sam Torrance. In 1924 the two courses at Greenock were reconstructed by none other than James Braid, one an 18 and one a 9. The clubs location provides panoramic views of the River Clyde and is less than 25 minutes away from Glasgow international Airport. The Wee Course at Greenock is a 9 hole 32 par course measuring 2160 yards. Designed by James Braid, The Wee Course takes advantage of the sterling views of the River Clyde and the Highlands in Ayrshire. This course is the perfect challenge for the beginners and experienced alike.
