Course overview
Dunfermline Golf Club invites you to “Play in the Footsteps of Kings”. Founded in 1887 it is Fife's premier parkland course, situated in the picturesque village of Crossford, Dunfermline Golf Club has a 6133-yard, par 72 course and is fairly unusual in having 5 par fives and 5 par threes. J.R. Stutt of Paisley designed the undulating and rather testing parkland course and there are no fewer than five par fives, the longest of which is the 528-yard 18th, Halkett's Hame. Dunfermline Golf Club has what must surely be the oldest golf clubhouse in the world, Pitfirrane Castle, which dates back to 1583 and is blessed with stunning views over the golf course. The building is spectacular inside with its medieval woodwork, Flemish stained glass and ornate plaster ceiling in the dining room. Dunfermline Golf Club also boasts a par 3 nine-hole course that provides a challenge to the best of short games.
