Course overview

Built back in 1990, Mill Ride Golf Club has built up a reputation as being one of the most friendly and social clubs in the county. The clubhouse boasts some excellent facilities including large changing rooms, sauna and a large patio that overlooks the 18th green where you can enjoy the excellent food which is served all day. It also has some great practice facilities which include a large putting green, driving range and short game practice area. Designed by Donald Steel in 1990, Mill Ride is an 18 hole Par 72 parkland course that measures 6,885 yards in length. Mill Ride is a challenging golf course with large greens and bunkers, and water that comes into play on 8 of the 18 holes. If you manage to get through the tough opening 5 holes relatively unscathed then you have the chance to pick up shots on holes 6, 7 and 8 before a tough 9th hole. Watch out for the 18th hole, a great par 5 to finish, where water comes into play on both your second and third shots.
