Course overview

Braes Golf Centre is the operating name of the golfing and hospitality venue on the site of the former Polmont Golf Club. The course was built in 1976 although the original Polmont Golf Club dates back over 100 years founded in 1901 and moved to its current location in Maddiston 75 years later. Braes Golf Centre is extremely accessible and lays just a couple of miles from both the M9 and M8. Offering generous practice facilities including short-game area situated in front of the clubhouse that is ideal for honing your skills before heading out onto the course. Braes Golf Centre is a tricky parkland design made-up of 9 holes that are played twice from two sets of uniquely positioned tee boxes. The 1st and 10th holes are great examples to how different the two 9s are, with the first measuring a mere 136 yards and the 10th a lengthy 220 yards, often requiring a fairway wood! These completely differing hole layouts provide a real test of golf throughout.
