Course overview
Possibly the most picturesque golf course in the Midlands, set on the dramatic slopes of Lickey Hills Country Park. Opened in 1921, the challenging 18 hole, 69 par course is a true test for golfers of all abilities. Huge banks of pine trees tower above the 16th and 18th holes – the sort of setting usually reserved for the most exclusive of clubs. The 10th hole is testing, restricting the bold player to a five-wood or three-iron on the first shot. The long 221 yards par three 15th is probably the most difficult hole. Accuracy is required to cross a stream onto a small green. Most players have to take a long iron or wood.
