Course overview

Boyle Golf Club has been around since 1911 but it wasn't until 1972 that it moved to its present location along a low hill about a mile outside of town. Eddie Hackett designed this parkland course, which can be said about many of the country's courses, but that doesn't detract from its unique character and location. In fact, it could be argued that this nine-hole course offers more value for your money than one of the more recognizable Irish golf courses since the course itself has the same variety of challenges and the club offers many of the same amenities including a bar, restaurant, and practice facilities. The course features wide fairways and may lack bunkers but don't let this seemingly easy course deceive you. There are still many natural challenges to be aware of as well as out-of-bounds. Boyle Golf Club's undulating landscape also calls for different types of shots on each hole and only three holes share the same tee box, ensuring that every hole requires a different strategy.
