Course overview
Saddleworth Golf Club situated within close proximity to Saddleworth Village and the surrounding areas of Manchester and West Yorkshire. The legendary course architect Dr Alister MacKenzie designed Saddleworth Golf Club in 1913 and it has matured and flourished over the years into the course it is today and undoubtably the best in the area. This established parkland course measures in at just over 6000 yards and although may not be long for the modern game, the par 71 will prove the perfect challenge to golfers of all abilities. There could arguably be quite a few signature holes at Saddleworth Golf Club but there has to be a special mention to the par 5 14th where no other than Peter Alliss described the view from the 14th Tee as one of the best in golf.
