Course overview
Clyne Golf Club is one of the finest golf courses in Swansea. The course is set in beautiful surroundings offering beautiful 360-degree panoramic views throughout your round. Clyne was designed by the legendary Harry Colt, and the course offers a real challenge for golfers at every level. The course may deceive you with by the look of the wide fairways, but these are very well protected by pot bunkers which are often protected by the surrounding humps and bumps of the fairways. There is of course also the battle with mother nature, the swirling breezes particularly at the highest points makes it very tricky to stay on line. The greens are well protected and the run off areas make it tricky to hit GIRS, however the putting surfaces are immaculate and very receptive. The course is a Par 72, measuring over 6400 yards, which with the changing winds can play short or long, and has the classic 4 Par 3s, 10 Par 4s and 4 Par 5s which gives the course great balance. Clyne Golf club also provides excellent locker room & practice facilities, with a spacious bar and restaurant.
