Course overview

Tenby Golf Club is the oldest golf club in Wales, established in 1888. Tenby Golf Club originally was laid out as a nine hole course. This beautiful links is situated in the picturesque Pembrokeshire Coast, resulting in enriching views across Britain’s most intriguing islands, Caldey Island. Tenby Golf Club, is one of the finest and least well-known golf courses in the whole of the British Isle. Here you will find a links course at its most natural. There is nothing modern about Tenby Golf Club but is an engaging experience. Many shots are blind, the contoured greens are hard and fast, there are snaking hog’s back fairways, dense gorse, cruel pot bunkers and rugged dunes which can swallow your ball if hitting it wayward. Tenby Golf Club is not a long course by modern day standards, measuring a little less than 6,500 yards from the tips, the opening four holes, three of which are over 400 yards long, will test even the very best golfers.
