Carlow Golf Club and the Oakpark Golf Course is located in the beautiful county of Kilkenny in Ireland. The 9 Hole Par 35, Oakpark Course, was designed by renowned architect Jeff Howes is a truly terrific layout. The oak park mirrors many of the features of the more challenging Deerpark course and is a tremendous hit with local golfers. Situated on rolling terrain, it provides a superb challenge to golfers of all standards. When you feature in the emphasis on accurate iron play and a delicate short game these are the keys to scoring well round here. Amongst the picturesque mature woods in the pleasant countryside setting where the unusually sandy soil has the bonus of allowing year round play. The 8th is a glorious par 3 with the green guarded by bunkers and is one of the feature holes on the Oakpark course at Carlow. With a magnificent panoramic view of the first tee and the 9th green the clubhouse is an ideal spot to visit during your day.
