Course overview
Lancaster Golf Club was designed by renowned Golf Course architect James Braid. Situated to the south of Lancaster the course at Lancaster Golf Club is set on parkland offering a number of well maintained and sculpted fairways and greens. A mainly flat layout opens the course to golfers of a range of abilities. Being near the River Lune visitors can often expect a tricky challenge on some of the greens as result of the Irish Sea winds that blow through. Closing in on the clubhouse to finish the round, visitors can anticipate natural obstacles while navigating through woodland. Open to visitors since 1933, Lancaster Golf Club has become one of the most attractive courses in all of Lancashire.
