Course overview

Sitting on the shore of the world famous Menai Straits and nestled below the beautifully rugged Eryri National Park and over looked by Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) we can truly say we have some of the finest scenery of any golf course . Caernarfon is an 18-hole parkland layout with luscious fairways and smooth-running greens which are a joy to putt on. It is a very unique golf course with the stunning coastline only 20 metres away. Caernarfon was built in 1909 and has transformed from 9 holes to a fair and challenging 18 hole championship course. Caernarfon Golf Club is set a mile outside the historic town of Caernarfon in North Wales and it is known as a parkland by the sea. The views magnificent and you get a good mix of golf shots on this layout. You’ll be faced with a challenging set of par 3’s and a lovely variety of dog leg par 4’s which place a premium on accuracy. There is also a six bay driving range for those who wish to warm up before playing. A must visit if your in this area.
